Peterson Bridge Dedication

Price and Susan Peterson looked at a piece of land filled with rocks, dirt, water—and more rocks—and imagined something extraordinary. They envisioned a green space where people could connect with the outdoors, nature, and tranquility. It became Parque Biblioteca Boquete, the Petersons' gift to Boquete.

What began as a family conversation grew into a community treasure. Parque Biblioteca Boquete was brought to life through dedication and generosity of Price and Susan. Their gift reflects the values that have long defined the Peterson family: a love of nature, a spirit of service, and a belief in creating something lasting for others.

As Price celebrates his 90th birthday and Susan her 85th, we would like to honor them first by naming the covered bridge in the southern end of the Parque after the Peterson Family. And secondly by launching The Peterson Project for the next phase of the park's development.
