Why support the Parque Biblioteca Boquete?
The Parque Biblioteca Boquete was developed with private donations to provide a peaceful and inspiring natural environment in the center of Boquete for all of its residents and visitors. Private donations built the Park and are needed for its ongoing upkeep and growth. The Park is, and will continue to be, an enormous asset to the Boquete community with your support.
Amigos del Parque have been entrusted by the Biblioteca Foundation to raise the donations needed to maintain, enhance, and beautify the privately-funded Park for all. The future of the Park rests in your hands. Your generosity matters. There are so many ways you can support the Park with a charitable donation! And all donations are gratefully accepted!
Wondering how to donate?
Anyone can make a donation by visiting our "donate" page. Here you can use a credit card, make a bank transfer, or use PayPal. You can even make your donation a recurring one (monthly, quarterly or annually).
If you would like to make a transfer from your Panamanian bank account, please send it to the Fundación's savings account (cuenta de ahorros) in Banco General, reserved for the Parque Biblioteca,
#04-48-98-608521-8. If you do so, please email us telling us you have done so with your name and mobile number.
Tax Deductibility
For U.S. Tax Payers: Amigos del Parque is the flagship project of the Boquete Community Fund, recognized as 501(C)(3)tax-exempt organization, EIN 93-4835414. To claim a gift as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your emailed gift receipt as your official record.

For Panamanian Tax Payers: Donations to the Fundación Biblioteca de Boquete are tax-deductible, based on Resolution 201 4196 of April 4, 2012. To get the tax deduction receipt, please provide the Fundación Biblioteca de Boquete your name and cédula number.

How Will My Money be Used?
The goal of Amigos del Parque is to raise cover the needed costs for all maintenance and bring in additional donations for new plantings and improved infrastructure. Contributions are allocated to Park maintenance, covering expenses such as gardeners and grounds staff, plantings, irrigation, cleaning, and signage. A portion of total donations are allocated to an endowment, whose returns will cover the Park’s recurring maintenance costs over the long term.
Additional Ways To Give:
Endow the Park.
Adopt a tree.
We are building an endowment to cover the recurring costs of park maintenance over the long term. When large enough, interest earned will be allocated annually to pay for
Park expenses. An endowment also offers greater economic stability and strength for the Fundación Biblioteca de Boquete (owner of the Park) to take on new large-scale projects in the Park. A minimum of $1,000 will greatly help the endowment grow
quickly.
A native tree will be planted on your behalf.
Reforesting the Park with native trees enhances the habitat for
Boquete’s birds and animals while purifying our air, storing C0 2,
and enhancing our wonder at the beauty of the natural world.
Your name will be engraved on a plaque recognizing your
contribution on the giving wall. The cost is a minimum $500.
Make a Donation as a Gift.
Business and Organizational Sponsorships.
For a minimum of $50 you can
provide a meaningful gift to a friend who would value being a part
of keeping the Park beautiful. A card with a photo of the Park
indicating a donation has been made in their name will be
provided.
Businesses and organizations can donate money to support Park maintenance and growth. Annual contributions of a minimum of $3,000 receive signage at the Park entrance and online advertising on our web site.
Sponsor a Bench.
For a gift of $1000, you can dedicate a bench in tribute to a loved one; express appreciation or recognition;
mark significant personal memories or milestones; or celebrate
personal philosophies of life. Your words will be engraved on a
beautiful slate plaque for a sponsorship period of 10 years. If you prefer a specific location for the bench, the donation is $1,500.
Benches invite everyone to take a moment, breathe deeply, and
enjoy the beauty of Boquete.
Leave a Legacy.
Planned Giving bequests support significant infrastructure projects such as new gardens, pavilions, and
